The period of Soviet occupation of Latvia. The third Awakening. 1945-1991
In 1944 USSR repeatedly occupy Latvia and the repressions of inhabitants have been started. 119 000 inhabitants have been repressed up to 1953.
Visual exposition was created by using the characteristic phenomenon of Socialism system – the communal flat.
The exposition has unique archive materials, documents and photos as well as many social things, communism ideology attributes, evidences of the third Awakening and barricades in 1991 and a collection of self-made posters. |
