Latvia’s state establishing and fights for freedom. 1918 – 1920

Independent Latvian state had been proclaimed on the 18th of November 1918; however Latvian territory had been occupied by German soldiers and Soviet Russia troops threatened from the East.

The exposition allows seeing the first national military unit, later – Latvian Army formatting and fighting against Russian and German monarchists. The support of Britain, French, Estonian and Polish soldiers played the main role in this fight.
