My grandfather was Logan Solgonov and was awarded the Military Order of Lacplesis and my Father Alexis Solgonov was in the Latvian army who was made to go into the german army. can anyone tell me where i can find out more information on both of them. thank you.

I visisted the museum in 1993 when my mother, Anna Kursitis was able to visit her country once again. I was proud to see my Grandfather's Medals of Honor and pictures there. I wonder if they added his published diaries- He was Stanislav Kursitis. I hope to return soon.

Why is there no reference to the Latvian SS 15th and 19th divisions during the period 1943 to 1945?
